Doll house and new year

Kids play with their new doll house together very well.

I put Lilly's hair pin on Connors hair, he looked like a girl.


In Japan, new year　day is more special than Xmas. Make various food more than 10 different small dishes and decorate them nicely in special lunch type of box.and each dish has meaning. Ex) to have noodles, pray long life.
Scott is not interested in these Japanese traditional foods so I haven't tried make them but now we have kids and I want to show them something Japanese so I started to make them 2 days ago. Will take a while to make them all. Will take some photos on new years day.

Scott prefers western food so when we were in japan, my mum used to cook steak or fried chicken or spare ribs as well as those small dishes for scott. She doesnt make all of traditional food she orders from famous restaurant
this 3level beautiful pictured box with full of food inside every year. She pays abt $300 for that which Scott doesn't understand.
Anyway it's traditional thing and it gives us special feeling for new years so it's not really about money I guess .


So now I am trying to make it. It's fun to make something.



Btw this is the food I was talking about ;) Ad by Japanese supermarket in USA. So Japanese ppl still buys this even when they are living in USA...





Kids are sleeping now. Finally time for just myself.

Tanger outlet

Went to outlet today. The one you have been to. Tanger outlet.

Pretty big but I had nothing to buy there. Scott bought some work clothes.
I bought Lilly's toy and Lilly's dress. All about Lilly.



It was a long drive for kids.

Next day of Xmas is quiet

Me and lilly played with new kitchen for long time this morning. Scott was a customer.
I was wondering what I should do with all her paintings. It's not right to just get rid of them so I made some shopping bags we use for pretend play. Made some cute bags.

Lilly loves to serve food to daddy.
We had so much fun this morning.


Now it's nap time. I will go downstairs and will watch Japanese movie Scott got for Lilly.
We watched till 10:30 last night, kids stayed up late.
I will watch rest of it now.


Oh I cut Lilly's fringe. Scott thinks its strange but I think she is cute. Will grow again so it doesn't really matter ;) her first time ever hair cut so I saved hair I cut ;)

Cookie house

Making cookie house was fun.
I used milk carton box to make pattern. Pretty clever me ☺

Cut cookie dough with pizza cutter. Another clever me 😁


Put some colored candies in windows.
Made zeus and ashta dolls too.



Me and Lilly had so much fun making this.



We bake a lot together almost every day. Lilly loves breaking eggs, mixing, but her most favorite is tasting.


But she never makes mess. Always listen to me carefully and ask me when she wants to do something - mummy can I?

That's why I love baking with Lilly. She is such a gentle smart girl.

Now I know

Having baby boy is something very special.
Connor is too cute. I always want to eat him.
