I suddenly thought we should make our Xmas card this year, that timing was pretty late too..We will do it earlier next year and will send it to you all straight away for sure next year. Ahhh why am I always too late to do things like this ;(
As Scott wrote you earlier today, we miss you all and I miss that hot summer Xmas with you so much.
I love our only family Xmas here too but kids should be joining you as a big family and have fun with nanny, pops, aunties, uncles and their awesome cousins.
Last night, Lilly dressed up and she was looking forward to seeing all of you but unfortunately Skype didn't work. That was a shame but luckily we received Xmas presents from you yesterday morning so the kids could open up some presents you sent.
Lilly opened and got Dora hat and Minnie socks. She was so excited and happy.
Connor got a car and pair of pjs. Connor preferred Lilly's Dora hat though. They had a fight over Dora.
He wore it for a while, didn't want to return it to Lilly but he did eventually. Connor is unbelievably naughty but sweet.
I still don't understand why all kids love Dora so much though! Anyway that hat was a big hit. You know them well. Thank you!!
Well it's 4am here and I just finished all preparation for a big day tomorrow.
I'm excited and I don't think I can sleep so soon.
I don't know if my father in law Tony has read my blog before but I always write here for Lynn and Tony for both of you. Mum, pls force dad to check my blog sometimes if he isnt very interested in. I need both of you to know about our life here.
We are so sorry that we weren't there with you at Scotts pops passing and funeral. So sorry we couldn't do anything. Huge regret we couldn't come to see him before to show our children. Could have sent him kids pictures, letters..I feel terrible.
I remember so clear about the day I met Scotts nan and pops on our wedding day. I went their bedroom, spent some time with them talking, laughing. That was first time i met them but i was so comfortable with them, I even complained about my eyes to them that I got very bad dried eyes. Pops gave me one of his eye drops. I used it straight away on their bed sitting next to them, my eye got so much better. We laughed again. Felt like they are my real grandparents.
So did my mum and dad. They were so happy to see Scott's grandparents at wedding, they treasured the painting picture that pops painted. It's still hanging on their wall in Japan.
I told my mum that pops has gone. She got shocked said she doesn't know what to say but if there is anything she can do. I said I will ask Lynn and Tony.
If she is allowed to send something to nanny, please let me know.
I was thinking to send our Xmas card to nan and pops this year. I was too too late. Well not too late. Nan is there so we should send kids pictures and letter sometime. Can we?
